I am an advanced beginner. I have hit around for years (not seriously at all) and finally am wanting to get more serious. If you are questioning whether to ask me to play, I will give you a little info about my game:
- First of all... I don't suck (I understand the fear of playing with someone who exaggerates their skills).
- I can definitely rally if you are just looking to hit around
- I am very scrappy (I will dig for shots... sometimes too much)
- I have a good forehand
- I have a mediocre backhand (I am currently transferring from a one handed backhand to a two handed... so there are growing pains).
- I have a good attitude when playing (no need to worry about someone that is WAY too competitive). I want to win and excel, but it won't ruin my day.
Other than that, I used to play competitive table tennis... so if you want to play that some time as well, I have a great setup at home with a robot ;)
