About

I used to be an excellent player, singles and doubles - 30 years ago! I’ve spent the last few years getting healthy, in all ways, and I picked up my racquet again. I’ve been practicing ground strokes, drop shots, lobs, and volleys solo in the handball court at Orchard Park and then practicing my serve on the tennis court. Surprisingly, I’m still OK - nowhere near as good as I was in my youth but not bad for an old lady! :)

Work: I teach Women’s and Gender Studies at RU
