Learned to play tennis on the clay courts of Guadalajara, Mexico. After returning to the states, Tulsa, OK, played summer / winter tennis in the Frank Ward programs of the early 70s. Played some high-school tennis and "showed", came in second in the Tulsa World Tournament when 15. Regrettably, have played sparingly during the last 15 years.
